Research & Engagement

Developing an inclusive and meaningful approach that gets to the heart of what you need.

We are experienced in a range of approaches from literature and data reviews, to surveys, focus groups, workshops, conversations and interviews, creative approaches, co-design and beyond. We also enjoy articulating data in a way that helps you and your audience not only understand it but be able to make good use of it.

We have recently completed community engagement on the development of play areas across a borough. We enjoyed getting out and speaking to local adults and children, as well as undertaking a survey, engaging with people via social media, and speaking to people on the phone. Our insights helped inform the specification for play equipment providers and influenced the chosen designs that people will be able to enjoy for years to come.

Evaluation

Helping you to look at the process and/or impact of your work.

As well as undertaking evaluations, we can also support the development of models, frameworks, plans, and training that help you enhance your monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes.

We have recently completed a realist evaluation of a community health and wellbeing project, that included undertaking a literature review and developing a Theory of Change. Our work provides the organisation with findings they can use in their funder reports, insights that will help them develop their project content, and evidence to add to future funding applications.

Strategy & Planning

Helping you review and refresh existing strategies and plans, or developing new ones that support you in getting where you want to be.

Being independent really helps us to see the bigger picture, as well as take time to understand the operational considerations too.

We have recently completed the development of a 3-year sustainability plan, operational roadmap, and two supporting strategies for a social impact charity. By providing a detailed plan, recommendations, strategic objectives, and an operational roadmap we have been able to give both the senior leadership team and board of trustees the tailored guidance they need to work towards a more resilient and sustainable future.
